Things to Do

There is so much to do in Central Florida!

Walt Disney World! Extend your stay and take your family to Disney. Only an hour away, Disney is a straight shot from Daytona Beach on I-4.

Universal Studios Florida! Are Harry Potter or Sponge Bob more your scene? If so, Universal is also just an hour away.

Go on a cruise! Port Canaveral is also just an hour away! If you've got a cruise in mind, you might as well combine it with your trip to celebrate our wedding!

Local Fun: You don't have to leave Daytona Beach to enjoy your trip to Florida. We've got plenty of daytrip destinations close by.

Visit Daytona Beach International Speedway! You can take a tour of the expansive track and visit their racing museum. Don't forget to stock up on your NASCAR and IMSTA Merch while you're there!

Ponce Inlet Lighthouse and Marine Science Center are two attractions worth seeing. Huff and puff your way to the top of Florida's tallest lighthouse for amazing views along with historical grounds and a museum dedicated to lighthouse lenses. The marine science center has interactive displays and presentations for the kiddos!

For an outdoor adventure, check out Rosebay Watersports! You can rent sea-doo's, kayak's and much more! After you're done, you can enjoy food and drink at The Hidden Treasure restaurant! Keep your eyes peeled for all the unique nautical touches that surround you in this eatery.

Behold the clean bathrooms and crave-able treats at the iconic Bucc-ee's Gas Station and then head over to Tanger Outlet Mall for some serious shopping!

Enjoy Eclectic Shopping in Downtown Daytona and while you're there, take a relaxing stroll at the new Riverfront Esplanade.

Eat, drink, and dance the night away to live music at the one and only Ocean Deck, directly on the World's Most Famous Beach.

Last but not least, you can choose to do NOTHING but relax and connect with friends and family. The Shores Resort has a Spa and there is a great oceanfront pool deck. You're on the World's Most Famous Beach, so take a stroll and enjoy the breeze and sounds of the crashing waves.

If you've had your fill of Daytona, consider heading 20 minutes south to New Smyrna Beach! This beach town has a laid back, hippie vibe. Check out the small businesses and restaurants on Canal Street. The Smyrna Dunes Park is gem! It has 2-miles of elevated boardwalk, allowing you to see the beach dunes in their natural state. It also provides an opportunity to see endangered Gopher Tortoises in their natural habitat. You might even get lucky enough to also see an endangered Florida Scrub Jay!
